Hello my nobles, how have you been?

In 2022 I was invited to participate in Southeast Dungeon Scourge 2, it was an honor for me to be among such admirable artists,

I was very honored by the invitation! (And the coolest thing is that I met a lot of musician friends, and the event coincided with my birthday, it was really a gift!)

For my presentation I decided to make an improvised Dungeon Synth, on top of some bases that I created especially for the presentation.

Only pure music that comes from the soul of each musician.

For this task, I borrowed a silicone keyboard controller,

It is very useful but it can also be complicated to work with due to the force required to activate the keys!

But it was perfect for what I had planned!

So I recorded and tried several times until I got something closer to the result I wanted, also tried to put some philters to make the video more psychedelic.

After many years working with quantized music on a piano roll, I wanted to bring something more human and experimental, I was very happy with the final
result.

So to complement the presentation, I had the idea of ​​creating a small platform game in which I would intersperse the game stages with the presentation scenes.

In the game, you find yourself in a lost dimension, where you have to pass through temples, where you must improvise to prove yourself worthy of going to the last temple, where the gurus tell you that they know a way to make you return to your world, which is by connecting your energy with the cartridge, then it will be sent back to the world, but it will be trapped inside the cartridge until someone finds it, and plays the game, thus freeing your soul so that you can be reborn again in another existence.

So the cartridge has a curse, but it is also the only way to free yourself from that dimension.

The lost dimension can also be an analogy to people who lose themselves, and they need to face different situations imposed on them, from life so that they can find themselves again in something different.

For this CD version, I took the liberty of changing the order of some tracks, in order to increase the listener's immersion, I also included the programed tracks made for the game.

Ps* The game was made only to complement the presentation, there is no longer a playable file (sorry!)

BUT! I have plans to make a more elaborate game next time, to be released with a soundtrack CD!
